Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs (the Department) that it has had 11,858 National Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) reports between 1 January 2024 and 30 September 2024 inclusive. I refer the member to the attached table in Appendix A. This provides the number of NCMEC reports received by the Department between 1 January 2024 and 30 September 2024, broken down by month.
