68003 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Internal Affairs: What advice, if any, has she received on the financial implications of the Online Gambling Market in New Zealand?

Hon Brooke van Velden: In December 2023, I received a report from the Department of Internal Affairs presenting options to regulate and tax online casino gambling. This report included the financial implications of the online gambling market. Financial implications were also covered in the July 2024 Cabinet paper and associated regulatory impact statement.
