Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister of Health: Is the Minister aware of the concerns raised in the Radio New Zealand article Cuts Looming for 'Critical' Public Health Services about the potential loss of critical public health programmes; if so, what measures, if any, is the Ministry considering to ensure the continued funding and support for essential health services, such as immunisation campaigns and infectious disease control?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: Yes. I am advised that the National Public Health Service within Health New Zealand continues to prioritise essential health services, including immunisation, screening, and protecting our communities through outbreak preparedness and response as necessary.
