Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: Did the Fast-track Projects Advisory Group take into consideration any evidence and findings highlighted from the Courts, Environmental Protection Agency, mana whenua, communities or organisations when reviewing the Trans-Tasman Resource application under Schedule 2 of the Fast-track Approvals Bill; If so, what briefings, reports, documents, and advice did the advisory panel consider, by title and date?

Hon Chris Bishop: I cannot comment on what the Fast-Track Projects Advisory Group considered when making their recommendations, as they operated independently of Ministers. I refer the member to the Fast-Track Projects Advisory Group Report. I note that an expert panel will assess the environmental effects of the project and seek comments from relevant groups when considering the substantive application.
