Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: What correspondence, including letters, emails, text messages, WhatsApp, signal, or any other form of electronic communication, if any, has the Minister or any member of their Office sent or received during the week beginning 7 October 2024, to the NZ First Party Leader’s Office by subject and date?

Hon Erica Stanford: My office has at least 17 members of staff (including departmental secondees). Requiring all of them to go through multiple channels of communication to identify any correspondence with staff in the NZ First Party Leader's Office would require significant time and prevent them from undertaking their day to day role. As such, I do not believe it is in the public interest for staff time to be diverted in this way. If the member would like to be more specific with his question I am happy to consider it. As a matter of standard process I consult with the ACT Party, New Zealand First Party, National Leader’s Office, and Prime Minister’s Office on draft Cabinet papers. Any Cabinet papers that were provided for consultation remain under active consideration and it is not in the public interest to release any details about them at this time.
