Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the quarter April to June 2024 to implement the recommendation ‘Work with various expert groups to ensure clarity of opportunities in primary care’ as part of Te Whatu Ora Planned Care Taskforce Reset and Restore Plan?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the April to June 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand continued to work with primary care and expert advisory groups to develop pathways and better ways of engaging with patients. I am further advised that Health NZ's clinical leadership continues to meet regularly with groups such as GPNZ to ensure there is a good dialogue and understanding of where opportunities exist.
