66576 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the quarter April to June 2024 to implement the recommendation ‘Consider the opportunities provided by moving the named range of services into the community’ as part of Te Whatu Ora Planned Care Taskforce Reset and Restore Plan?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the April to June 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand continued to develop community-based pathways including the bariatric and abnormal uterine bleeding pathways which aim to shift more service into the community.
I am further advised that the FIT for Symptomatic pathway also has a significant community component which is currently in prototype in two districts.
