Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the quarter April to June 2024 to implement the recommendation ‘Mandate each region to establish consistency of approach to radiology waiting list management’ as part of Te Whatu Ora Planned Care Taskforce Reset and Restore Plan?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that the Radiology Clinical Network is in place, and national prioritisation criteria and booking policies are in place in all districts. I am further advised that a national view of radiology waiting lists has been collated and is currently being analysed.
