Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the quarter April to June 2024 to implement the recommendation ‘Te Whatu Ora establishes an expert working group to establish a national set of agreed metrics such as the definitions of theatre start time and theatre utilisation’ as part of Te Whatu Ora Planned Care Taskforce Reset and Restore Plan?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that the national Theatre Expert Advisory Group has played a key role in defining the agreed national set of metrics that are now operational and measured within the national Theatre Metrics Dashboard. I also refer the Member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 66530 (2024).
