Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the quarter April to June 2024 to implement the recommendation ‘Consideration is given to establishing a volume target expectation at a district level of increased internal delivery of planned care surgery within existing resources’ as part of Te Whatu Ora Planned Care Taskforce Reset and Restore Plan?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the April to June 2024 quarter, volumes for expected delivery of planned care were established for the current financial year as part of Health New Zealand's Health Target implementation and delivery planning.
