Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Police: Why was the view of the Attorney General on options for inclusion in the Gangs Legislation Amendment Bill of escalating penalties that included adding a possession ban in private residences sought only at the stage of ministerial consultation (according to WPQ60129/24) when in the Police briefing of 27 March the Minister had instructed that the Attorney General be consulted at that stage?
