66312 (2024). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: Has the Minister advised businesses and individuals about ensuring they comply with the United Nations General Assembly's resolution to cease importing products originating from Israeli settlements?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: The United Nations General Assembly Resolution does not impose legal obligations on New Zealand beyond any already existing under international law. New Zealand companies and individuals are bound by New Zealand law. Decisions by New Zealand businesses and individuals should be taken based on their own assessment of risk.
