66295 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: Did the minister send a letter seeking nominations for roles at the Human Rights Commission to members of the Labour Party Caucus; why or why not?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I did not invite nominations for roles at the Human Rights Commission from the Labour Party. It is not usual practice for ministers to invite nomination for statutory roles from opposition parties.
