66283 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: What, if any, NCEA level one Te Reo Māori courses are available for rangatahi that are doing correspondence schooling or online schooling, and for what ages?”

Hon Erica Stanford: The current NCEA Level 1 Te Reo Māori course is available and delivered through Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu for correspondence students. This course is available to all secondary-aged ākonga. Ākonga will be supported by specialist kaiako of Te Kura Pounamu and will also have access to available resources developed by both kaiako and the Ministry of Education.
