66238 (2024). Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister of Defence: What aides-mémoire, briefings, memos, notes, reports, or any other advice, if any, has the Minister or their Office received regarding the HMNZS Manawanui since becoming a Minister, by date and title?

Hon Judith Collins: I receive regular reporting on New Zealand Defence Force operations, capability and readiness, that include mention of HMNZS Manawanui as appropriate. Since the incident, I have received daily situation reports and other advice concerning the all-of-Government response. Monthly lists of briefings I receive as Minister of Defence are published on the New Zealand Defence Force website (https://www.nadf.mil.nz/media-centre/search-our-libraries/documents/?search=briefings&document-type=Official+information&sort=date).
