66209 (2024). Cushla Tangaere-Manuel to the Minister of Transport: What commitment, if any, can the Minister make to the residents of Hawke's Bay that their recovery needs will be prioritized in future budget considerations?

Hon Simeon Brown: The Government has allocated $609.3 million over the next three years to complete state highway recovery works in areas affected by the North Island Weather Events, including $250 million for the East Coast. NZTA is working with Hawke’s Bay councils to develop programmes of work for this year, and future years.
