Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Internal Affairs: How much of the 2020 original budget allocation has the Department of Internal Affairs spent on the Tāhuhu: Preserving the Nation's Memory Programme main drawdown from tagged contingency established in Budget 2020 initiative, if any, as at 1 October 2024?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that as at 1 October 2024, it has spent $52.1 million of operating expenditure and $101.5 million of capital expenditure on the Tāhuhu: Preserving the Nation's Memory Programme main drawdown from tagged contingency established in Budget 2020 initiative.
