66162 (2024). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Is the Minister and the corrections minister Mark Mitchell, assessing how budgets are currently being used in forensic mental health services, and how they might be put to better use; if so, what, if anything, will this mean?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that Health New Zealand is working with the Department of Corrections to identify opportunities to improve access to the right level of care for people in the Corrections system with mental health needs.
