66102 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Finance: What criteria would be required for the cost pressure arrangement for Vote Health throughout the three-year settlement to be reopened, if any?

Hon Nicola Willis: The three-year cost pressure settlement could be re-opened if there was a genuinely extraordinary event or pressure that could not be managed within the existing settlement. For more information, please see paragraphs 31 and 32 of "Joint Report T2022/2608: Multi-year funding for Vote Health: Coverage and design considerations", which was released as part of the Budget proactive release.
