Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How much depreciation free cash is going into the Health Capital Envelope, noting Health New Zealand’s April – June 2024 quarterly performance report’s disclosure that ‘work is continuing on the development of the 2024/25 capex budget which is to be funded by depreciation free cash and ongoing funds from the Health Capital Envelope’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised the Capital Plan for 2024/25 is being finalised, with advice due to the Commissioner for approval in the coming weeks.
