64843 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: Does this Minister intend to prioritise victims; if so what priority is he giving to the review of the Victims' Rights Act?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Government has committed to a wide-ranging work programme to prioritise victims in the justice system. The Ministry’s review of the Victims’ Rights Act has been scaled back to allow the Ministry to focus on other Government priorities and is scheduled to restart later this parliamentary term.
