64815 (2024). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: How much funding from the Kiwibuild and BuildReady Development Pathway programmes is being redirected to the Residential Development Underwrite?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Residential Development Underwrite is enabled by unused funding from KiwiBuild and Build Ready Development. The RDU has initial funding of $105 million to be transferred from BRD, with an additional $16.5 million available from BRD, which will be considered in the next baseline update. No funds, as yet, have been transferred from KiwiBuild.
