64744 (2024). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Prime Minister: How many times, if any, has a Minister implemented changes via Order in Council since 28 November 2023, by initiative?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the Responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. I am advised that information on the making of secondary legislation is not held in a format that can be easily extracted within the time frame. Most Orders in Council are publicly available on the following website: New Zealand Legislation website. As Ministers remain responsible for secondary legislation within their portfolios, questions should be directed to individual Ministers.
