64741 (2024). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Will the new Dunedin hospital include any publicly funded specialist mother and baby inpatient beds, dedicated to new mothers experiencing significant challenges with their mental health: if not, why not?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that mental health services, including for new mothers, will remain available at Wakari Hospital, and so were not considered as part of the New Dunedin Hospital business case.
