64702 (2024). Teanau Tuiono to the Associate Minister of Health: Further to WPQ 59730 (2024). Will the funding be used to maintain and enhance training and support programmes for frontline ambulance personnel and if so how?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the use of the funding is an operational decision left to the service providers. I am further advised, however, that as registered health professionals, paramedics are required to complete a minimum of 30 hours of professional development each year in order to maintain their professional competency.
