64617 (2024). Hon Willie Jackson to the Minister of Education: Is the Minister currently taking Te Reo Maori lessons, if so, how often does she take them and what is the cost of taking Te Reo lessons?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am not currently taking Te Reo Māori lessons but enjoyed the opportunity to complete a minor in Māori studies as part of my undergraduate study at the University of Auckland that contained language papers.
