Hon Erica Stanford: I have been advised by the Ministry of Education that the current contracts with Te Ahu o te reo Māori providers have been in place from July 2021 and are set to expire in December 2024. Therefore, it is not possible to provide the information sought by the Member for the 2025/26 or 2026/27 financial years. The funding allocated for Te Ahu o te reo Māori for the previous financial years are as follows: • 2020/21 – $17,539,076.45 • 2022/22 – $15,272,685.09 • 2022/23 – $26,984,014.09 • 2023/24 – $27,106,780.00 • 2024/25 – $13,553,480.50
