64611 (2024). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: How much of the funding reprioritised from Te Ahu o te reo Māori programme has/will go towards funding mathematics resources for students; listed by amount of funding reprioritised per financial year?

Hon Erica Stanford: In accordance with the provisions of the Cabinet Office Circular CO (23) 4, I will proactively release the Cabinet paper, Plan for Tackling Maths Achievement, which provides a detailed breakdown of the reprioritised funding from Te Ahu o te reo Māori to mathematics resources. This will be accessible on the Ministry of Education’s website at https://www.education.govt.nz/our-work/information-releases/advice-seen-by-our-ministers/ in due course.
