64011 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Transport: What is the average salary of staff at any ministries, departments and agencies for which the minister is responsible, as at 1 October 2024?

Hon Simeon Brown: In regard to the Ministry of Transport, I am advised that as at 1 October 2024 the average salary of staff was $128,017. In regard to NZTA, I am advised that as at 1 October 2024 the average full time equivalent salary of permanent and fixed term employees was $131,139. In regard to the CAA, I am advised that as at 1 October 2024 the average salary at the Authority was $98,207.04.
