63988 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Local Government: What is the average salary of staff at any ministries, departments and agencies for which the minister is responsible, as at 1 October 2024?

Hon Simeon Brown: As the Minister for Local Government, I am not responsible for any Departments. In respect to Department of Internal Affairs, I refer the member to WPQ 63985 (2024). As the Minister for Local Government, I am responsible for Water Services Authority - Taumata Arowai (WSA) as an agency. As at 1 October 2024, the average salary of staff at the WSA was $135,654.
