63973 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for the Environment: What is the average salary of staff at any ministries, departments and agencies for which the minister is responsible, as at 1 October 2024?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised that as at 1 October 2024, the average salary of the Ministry for the Environment is $136,674.8. This average includes all permanent, fixed term and seconded out staff salary. The average salary at the Environmental Protection Authority as of 1 October 2024 is $119,514. This includes all fixed term and permanent employees and assumes full-time work. This average salary excludes the salary of the Chief Executive.
