63972 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Energy: What is the average salary of staff at any ministries, departments and agencies for which the minister is responsible, as at 1 October 2024?

Hon Simeon Brown: As Minister for Energy, I have no responsibility for any government departments or Ministries. In respect of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, I refer the Member to the Minister for Economic Development’s answer to written parliamentary question 63970 (2024). For the relevant agencies the average full time equivalent salary of EECA staff is $133,328.00 (as at 1 October). This figure is based on total FTE salaries (any part time employees have been rounded up to full time), divided by the total number of FTEs as at 1 October.
