63913 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills: What is the average salary of staff at any ministries, departments and agencies for which the minister is responsible, as at 1 October 2024?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised that as at 1 October 2024, the average salary for staff at the Tertiary Education Commission was $124,875. I am advised that as at 1 October 2024, the average salary for staff of the New Zealand Qualifications Authority was $112,582. I am advised that as at 1 October 2024, the average salary for staff of Education New Zealand is $135,032.
