Hon Shane Jones: I have received the following briefings and aides-memoire from the Ministry for Primary Industries regarding the Hauraki Gulf / Tīkapa Moana Marine Protection Bill: - Petition of Hauraki Gulf Alliance: Ban mobile bottom-contact fishing methods in the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park, 12 December 2023 - Revitalising the Hauraki Gulf: Fisheries New Zealand workstreams, 14 December 2023 - Impacts of the Tīkapa Moana/Hauraki Gulf Marine Protection Bill on commercial fishers, 27 March 2024 - Advice on Hauraki Gulf - Cable protection zones and biodiversity, 28 March 2024 Two papers with titles not currently in the public interest to publish. My office communicates regularly with the Ministry for Primary Industries, and I do not believe it is in the public interest to identify emails or other messages that I have received which refer to the Hauraki Gulf / Tīkapa Moana Marine Protection Bill due to the resources required to collate this information.
