62539 (2024). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Conservation: What reporting on progress towards protection of 30% of NZ's marine environment by 2030 does the Government intend to make to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) before CBD COP 16 in late October, if any?

Hon Tama Potaka: New Zealand is not required under the CBD to report on its achievement in relation to the global target to protect 30% of terrestrial and inland water areas, and of marine and coastal areas, before COP16 in October, and has no plans to do so.
