Hon Nicola Willis: No specific actions were taken in response to the report, but the final Budget operating package for 2024/25 was subsequently confirmed by Cabinet at $3.2 billion, compared with up to $3.5 billion at the Budget Policy Statement. This reduction made the fiscal impulse for 2024/25 less expansionary than it otherwise would have been.
