Hon Simeon Brown: As the Member will be aware, the Government is requiring reduced variable speed limits outside schools during pick up and drop off times to keep young New Zealanders safe. I have been advised by the Ministry of Transport that there was support from schools for the Government’s variable speed limit proposal through the public consultation process
