62433 (2024). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister of Immigration: Would visa applicants or visa holders have their visa declined because they followed incorrect information about visa application requirements or conditions provided by GovGPT?

Hon Erica Stanford: Visa applications are assessed against the immigration instructions of the category that an applicant applies under. Immigration instructions are available on the Immigration New Zealand website and it is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that the documentation provided with their application meets all requirements. I am advised Callaghan Innovation will pilot GovGPT and is planning to make the pilot available on its website in October. At this time Immigration New Zealand is not a participant in this pilot.
