62432 (2024). Kahurangi Carter to the Minister for Disability Issues: Has she, or the Ministry of Disabled People, issued any directives to deny, refuse or minimise access to funding or needs assessment services to people with a diagnosis of autism?

Hon Louise Upston: No. I am advised there has been no new operational or policy advice provided by Ministry of Disabled People - Whaikaha or the Ministry of Social Development in relation to Autism and the practices related to consideration for eligibility for accessing funded disability supports.
