Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that as of 26 September 2024, $177,691.25 has been spent on the University Advisory Group, comprised of $89,651.35 last financial year and $88,039.90 this financial year. The budget for this work for this financial year is $310,348.65, noting that the University Advisory Group’s work is due to conclude at the end of February 2025. These figures exclude the cost of Ministry of Education and Tertiary Education Commission staff time in supporting the University Advisory Group.
