62333 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Prime Minister: How much has been spent on the Christchurch Call Foundation since 27 November 2023 and what is the budget for this financial year?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: The Christchurch Call Unit, part of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) was a time-limited unit that ended operations on 30 June 2024. For the 2023/24 Financial Year DPMC supported the establishment of the Christchurch Call Foundation, a charitable trust established on 14 May 2024. This included contracted advice and services totalling $182,582.53. No further funding has been provided.
