62263 (2024). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: What discussions, briefings, memos, aide memoires, or any other information, if any, has the Minister had in relation to maintaining a 1000 bed buffer in the prison network?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I have received the following aide memoire considered relevant to the member’s question: • Aide Memoire: Budget 2024 - 'Prisoner Population - Responding to Increasing Prisoner Numbers' initiative (B4688) One additional briefing considered relevant to the member’s question is withheld in accordance with Speaker’s Ruling 199/6. I also receive regular updates from my officials on a range of matters, including via regular meetings and my weekly report.
