62039 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: What work from home policies and other flexible working arrangements, if any, does the Minister have for their ministerial offices and how many employees have them?

Hon Brooke van Velden: The Ministerial Services business group within the Department of Internal Affairs is responsible for employing all Ministerial office staff, except Portfolio Private Secretaries who are seconded by the respective government agencies. I am advised that the Department has current guidance that supports the requirements of the organisation. Work from home and other flexible working arrangements are considered on a case-by-case basis and require agreement of the respective Manager or Senior Private Secretary. Information regarding the number of ministerial office staff with flexible working arrangements is not currently centrally recorded.
