Hon Chris Bishop: The Ministerial Services business group within the Department of Internal Affairs is responsible for employing all Ministerial office staff (except Portfolio Private Secretaries who are seconded by the respective government agencies). The Department has current guidance that supports the requirements of the organisation. Work from home and other flexible working arrangements are considered on a case-by-case basis and require agreement of the respective Manager or Senior Private Secretary. Information regarding the number of ministerial office staff with flexible working arrangements is not currently centrally recorded.
