61872 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Immigration: What work from home policies and other flexible working arrangements, if any, does the Minister have for their ministerial offices and how many employees have them?

Hon Erica Stanford: Staff in my office are employed by either DIA (Ministerial Services) or by their seconding agencies. As such, I have no responsibility for their flexible working arrangements. I am advised that no staff member in my office has a formalised working from home arrangement in relation to their role in my office. However, they are able to request to work from home or other flexible working arrangements and these will be considered in line with the employer's legal obligations. Staff members may also request to work from home on an ad hoc basis as the need arises.
