61835 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Prime Minister: How many employees are in the Minister's departments, if any?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the Responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by DPMC. I am advised that as at 30 June 2024, employee headcount for DPMC is 242 and NEMA is 155.
