61815 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations: Prior to 16 September, what work, if any, has the Minister's departments, if any, done to scope or evaluate work from home policies?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that the Office for Māori-Crown Relations: Te Arawhiti implemented a working from home policy in March 2024. The policy came as a result of an initial trial of working from home, associated staff and manager guidelines, reviews of the trial, feedback from staff and managers. This policy sits under the umbrella of the Office’s departmental agency host Ministry of Justice’s flexible work policy.
