61787 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: How many employees are in the Minister's departments, if any?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development that as at 23 September 2024 they had 8903 permanent and fixed term employees (8778 FTE). Please note that this includes 171.6 FTE that transferred from the Ministry of Disabled People - Whaikaha on 16 September 2024.
