61749 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Police: What current policies, if any, does the Minister's department, if any, have on working from home or flexible working arrangements?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that the Employment Relations Act 2000 provides employees with a statutory right to request a variation to staff work arrangements. Police’s default setting is ‘yes’, approaching the request with a fair and transparent conversation.
