61722 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Māori Development: How many employees are in the Minister's departments, if any?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised by Te Puni Kōkiri that Te Kawa Mataaho annually releases headcount numbers in the Public Service here: https://www.publicservice.govt.nz/research-and-data/guidance-data-drilldown-and-technical-guidance. I am also advised by Te Puni Kōkiri that as at 30 June 2024, Te Puni Kōkiri had a headcount of 423.
